Dude’s Gotta Paintball

Chapter 1
Green And Mean

The cat didn’t meow. He screamed. Like a demon cat.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemeeeeeowwwwwwwwww!

Demon Cat propelled through the air, and he landed on the fox’s back with a huge thump.

‘He’s on me! He’s on me! Get him off!’ Little Foxy twirled around, trying to fling the cat off.

Magali stood rooted to the spot. Her black eyes grew wider and wider as she watched the wild demon cat cling to Little Foxy’s back.

‘Get him off! Get him off!’ Little Foxy yelled, running around in circles.

Henri Le Hare shouted over to his friend, ‘Not going to happen, Dude. He’s a demon! Look at his eyes!’

The cat’s eyes creased into slits, and under the moonlight, the slits lit up like fluorescent green beans.

‘Help me!’ Little Foxy rolled on the ground, with the cat on his back.

F-F-Foxy called over to his brother, ‘No can do, Man!’

Magali and Mishka gasped as they watched Demon Cat stretch out his claws and scratch Little Foxy’s back, from the top, all the way down.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemeeeeeowwwwwwwwww!

The young fox erupted and growled.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Magali and Mishka took off up the mountain, speeding into the forest. Henri Le Hare raced right behind them.
