Chapter 1
The Swooshy Wooshy
Mishka flapped like a bird, which is hard to do when you’re a rabbit. ‘I’m going to kill youuuuuuuuuu!’ he yelled, falling through the air.
‘Watch ouuuuuuuut!’ screamed Magali. She fell through scratchy tree branches. ‘Ouuuuch! Ay! Oooh! Ouch!’ She kept falling. ‘Noooooooooooooo!’
Splat!
She landed on the rocky ground.
Ker-plunk!
Mishka landed next to her. His face squashed into the ground.
Magali slowly stood, wiping dirt and twigs from her body. Then, she pulled Mishka up by his pompom tail. ‘Are you okay?’
Mishka’s blue eyes blinked five times. ‘Do you think I’m okay?!’ He pointed up the mountain. ‘We were supposed to be going for a walk through the mountain, not flying down it, okay? Why did you lead me off the edge?’
Capítulo 1
El Swooshy Wooshy
Mishka batió sus brazos como un pájaro, lo cual es difícil cuando eres un conejo.
―¡Te voy a matar! ―gritó cayendo por los aires.
―¡Cuidado! ―gritó la marmota. También cayó entre las ramas ásperas de los árboles―. ¡Ayyyy! ¡Ay! ¡Oooh! ¡Ay! ―Siguió cayendo―. ¡Nooooooooooooo!
¡Plaf! La marmota aterrizó.
El conejo aterrizó al lado. ¡Pum! Su cara se aplastó contra el suelo.
Magali se levantó y se limpió su cuerpo de tierra y ramas. Ayudó a Mishka a levantarse, tirándole de la cola.
―¿Estás bien?
Los ojos azules del conejo parpadearon cinco veces.
―¿Tú qué crees? ―Señaló la montaña―. Deberíamos haber dado un paseo por la montaña, no bajarla volando, ¿vale? ¿Por qué me llevaste hasta el borde?
